Rocky Mountain, was released in 1950.  It is a rare Hollywood treatment of Confederate heroism.  Errol Flynn heads a small  party of Southern soldiers on a mission in the California desert.   They fail in their mission and in the end die fighting Indians in a chivalric defense of Northern people.
